Document turns into several sequential pdfs

Using SAVE as PDF on a long file, 5 separate sequential pdfs were created, always at a section
break. What is going on and how can I prevent this?

That's an oops on my part - my entry disappeared when I reopened the newsgroup in Newswatcher.
Having some control issues there.
