Document Unavailable - Help

N

NotWordSavvy

I have auto save on my word document. I went to save my document and clicked
No on accident. Poof, it was gone.

I tried to:
1. Search for the file name with *. No luck.
2. Search in my Autsave Recovery. No luck. *.tmp does not exist.
3. Wen to try and retrieve the file by opening the Word document and
selecting File > "and the file name". This is where it tells me, Document
Unavailable.

I am at a loss. Where else can I look or what can I do? It is like the file
no longer exists.

Can anyone help?

There is no AutoSave feature in Word. There is an AutoRecovery option,
but that only works for crashed files.

If you didn't hit Ctrl + S or some other SAVE button/icon to actually
save the document before you closed it...it's gone.
