Document window borders off screen

I have a problem with Excel 2004 that I do not see in Word or Entourage.
Some Excel documents, when opened, have the top of their window off-screen.
I don't see how it is possible to "pull it down" as one cannot access the
top window bar. A lot of other documents open up with the top of their
window in the Standard Toolbar space. Is there any way of getting Excel to
open the document so that the top window bar is displayed and easily
accessed?

One way:

Choose Window/Zoom Window

Nope, sorry, but that did not work. Full Screen and Zoom do not bring the
window menu bar onto the screen. They are still off the top of the screen.

Ah, you mean Window->Zoom Window. You are correct, that works. For some
reason I was using View->Zoom and Full Screen. Thanks for you help!

Would be nice to have an option to "Always Open Window Under Toolbar" in
preferences...

Would be nicer if the windows properly *always* positioned themselves
below docked toolbars.
