Document window's top covered by toolbar

For no particular reason when I open a new document in Word (version x)
the new document's window is pushed all the way to the top of the
screen, placing it under the toolbar (it does however, arrange itself
correctly from left-to-right). I've tried arranging it how I want and
re-saving, but it makes no change to new documents. Someone please help
this is driving me crazy!!

Hey Matthew,

Try "re-docking" your toolbars by grabbing each one, moving it to another
location and placing it back so it "snaps" to the edges of your screen or
other toolbars.
