Hi,
Recently, I began having problems in my Mac Mini running Leopard and Office 2004. Specifically, when I'd have a Word document open, the window wouldn't be visible, even though everything else indicated the document was open. It wasn't minimized and hiding in the dock. It just wasn't there.
I used this as an excuse to purchase 2008, and now am having similar problems. The document window is visible, but I cannot bring it to the front no matter what I do -- if there are any other application windows open, they sit in front of the Word doc window, even when I have Word selected. What's more, I can't make the formatting toolbox (or the find dialog) visible, no matter what I try.
Since then, I've been having the same problems with 2004 on my MacBook. They're set to sync with .Mac, so I'm assuming SOMETHING has been transferred between the two computers. I've tried repairing permissions, and that hasn't helped.
Any ideas?
