I've been working on a document that's exhibiting behavior I've
never seen from Word before. I don't know which version of Word
the document was created in, but I've been editing it in Word 2004.
When I put it in Page Layout view and start scrolling, at some
point it flips back into Normal view and returns to page 1. On
occcasion, I've been able to scroll down further in the document
in Normal view, then switch to Page Layout and see more of the
document in that view. But at some point, it flips back to Normal.
I'm thinking that there must be some rogue formatting somewhere
in the document that's causing this, but I sure don't know what.
The document is being put into InDesign, so we'll be rid of the
faulty Word file soon, but I'm just curious whether anyone here
(whoever's still left ) has seen this behavior before, and if
so, if you have any ideas about what can cause it.
