In Word 2000 I have a problem. Instead of a blank page for Document1,
or Document2, etc., I get a page that has text in it. This is text
that I created, but I can't figure out how to get back to the default
of a blank page for Document1 etc. Can someone help?

If you go to the Start button, run, type in winword, then ok.

What do you see here? If blank, then you are starting your Word program from
a shortcut to a document you saved somewhere.

Make a new shortcut and browse to your office folder and select winword.exe.

Of course you may have some other odd thing going on and this is all pointless.

Could this be some text that somehow got saved to your normal.dot?
