Documents go away after hitting print button

I am having a problem with word docs disappearing after I hit the print
button. It only happens when I have multiple docs open and they all of a
sudden reappear on the taskbar. Other users also say that I have certain
docs open when I actually don't.

Check to make sure that you have the latest printer driver from the
manufacturers support site and then delete and reinstall your printer.

If other users are see files locked against your name (presumably, these are
in the Workgroup folder on a central sever), it suggests that your computer
is not clearing the Windows locking files when you close the documents. You
will need to get the network admin to log into the server and see if it
shows your profile as locking the documents and if necessary, delete the
locking files by releasing the documents.

I also recommend that you check your temp folder. When all applications are
closed, the temp folder should be empty: make it so.
