Documents not showing up in on Web Access side

After attaching documents to tasks and publishing a project I have come to
find that the attached documents do not show up on the Web Access side of the
project nor do all of the columns i have created. Anyone have any ideas?

In the notes section under task info you can either link a document or
display it as an icon in Project Server 2003. When I open that same project
through Project Web Access the document is not there. So the problem is that
I can not view all of the same info in Project Web Access as Project Server
2003.
Thanks

If you want to link documents in this way, you must use the href field, then
you'll need to expose that field in a Project Web Access. This is
essentially an outdated practice. With Project Server, the idea is to use
SharePoint for document storage and use the linking in Project Web Access to
make the connections.

Gary,

I just want to make sure I'm clear on something. Are you usaying there is no
way to link a document (such as a Word Doc) as you create the task in
Project Professional? Essentially you have to create the task in Project Pro
but then you have to go to PWA to link the document?

Thanks.

Steve --

You can insert documents into the actual Microsoft Project plan using
Insert - Object, but those documents will NOT be available to anyone in PWA.
The purpose of the Document repository in PWA is to make project-related
documents available to everyone associated with a project. Hope this helps.
