Documents with Backgrounds printing differently then preview

I have a background that shows exactly what I want on the page and as well as
when I preview it, however, when I print it out, the background tiles across
the page instead of one full background. Any help would be greatly
appreciated...

No guarantees, but two things that sometimes work:
1. In Word 2003 or earlier, try turning off "background
printing" in Tools | Options | Print. In Word 2007, try turning
off "print in background" in Office Button | Word Options | Advanced.
2. In Windows, try turning off print spooling and/or advanced
text services in Start | Control Panel | Printers | <right-click

Unfortunately the first one didn't work and the area for me to try number 2
looks like it has been grayed out by the company so can't change those
settings. Thank you so much for the suggestions though...much appreciated.
