Whenever i download certain docx files from my e-mail server IE wants t
save them as a zip file. I've seen some fixes posted around th
internet and none of them have worked. things i've tried:
*setting "Open files based on content instead of extension" t
disabled
*updating .net framework
*ensuring group policy reflects the first thing
I do not have access to the server to edit the MIME types, and using
different browser is not an option. I'm solving this problem for
number of users, some of which are not at all tech-savvy, so using "sav
as" or renaming the file after downloading also arent options.
Does anyone have other suggestions
