I'm writing a book in Word 2007: it has many equations (using equation
editor) and inserted objects such as power point slides.
Today I couldn't open one of the chapters. No changes were made to the
computer (which is virus free). Word declares it cant open the file and must
send this error message:
AppName: winword.exe AppVer: 12.0.6504.5000 AppStamp:49e7f5b6
ModName: wwlib.dll ModVer: 12.0.6504.5000 ModStamp:49e7f5f9
fDebug: 0 Offset: 002b4d36
Can someone please advise me? It seems that word becomes very unstable if
there are too many equations and objects. I've tried the usual suspects:
autosave, wbk etc. Nothing works. Is it time to switch to Latex? I hope not
-- word is convenient.
