I have a large database that I have recently upgraded to Access 2007 from XP.
I have linked a large number of tiff files to view in my Access form, and
since 2007, I am getting an error message saying that tiff is not supported.
However, the few help pages I have found addressing graphics formats say that
it is. The error message suggested converting the files to BMP, which I
tried and the appearance was not good. Have there been significant changes
here that I can't get around? I'd like to be able to display the tiff files
and continue saving my photos in this format if I can.
It has been several years since I created this database and I have forgotten
quite a bit of what I did. I vaguely remember having a similar problem
before, and was able to solve it, so I'm hopeful I can do so again.
FYI, the only thing actually stored IN the database (mdb file) in this case
is the path to the graphics file, to minimize the size of the database.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
