Does access copy the bound coloum only???

I wan't to copy or link a cel's text into an XL spred
sheet but access doesn't copy what I am looking at. It
seems to be copying the list index of the combo box row I
used to select the records data and not the actual text
displayed in my record table.

My setting is coloumn bound 0 with the first coloumn's
width included because it contains the serial number I
wan't e.g:2cm;3cm; = Serial Coloumn,Location Coloumn

Changing the bound coloums is not an option though, nor is
the coloumn withs. I have to somehow find settings for
what access copies or something like that...

Any Ideas my friends????

One possibility is that your field is defined as a Lookup datatype. You'll
find a consensus in this newsgroup (tablesdbdesign) against using the Lookup
datatype, because, while it displays a more meaningful value, it is actually
storing the underlying key. This sounds a little like what you described.
