Does anybody know what "error number 0x800ccc0e" means in OUtlook?

Does anybody know what "error number 0x800ccc0e" means in OUtlook?

It comes up when I am trying to get mail. Outlook has been downloading OK,
until a few weeks ago now it just won't work. I have the setting set up on my
laptop and that works OK.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you run a firewall and is Outlook.exe allowed to make the connection to
your ISP? Is your antivirus checking incoming/outgoing email? If so, disable
that (it won't compromise your security).
