Does anyone have a normal.dotm that is formatted exactly like norm

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. I searched and this was the
closest I could find.

I would like a normal.dotm that has the exact same settings as normal.dot.

Does anyone have one?

I realize I can do this myself, however when I changed the default styles
(Heading 1, Heading 2, etc) it saved all changes but did not save the bold.



I fought with this a few times and realized that someone out there must have
had the same problem.



Any ideas are welcome.



Problem overview:

Hundreds of "Letters" are saved in RTF format in the database. They are
opened through a winform app which calls word.

The diferences in fonts and other foolish changes in word 2007 mess will the
appearance of the "letter."

Here's something to try that might get you what you want... in the Home tab,
click Change Styles, Save as Quick Style Set to save your current settings
(this will let you revert if you end up worse off than you started)--give it
a name you'll recognize.

Then click Change Styles, Style Set, Word 2003. Click Change Styles, Set as
Default.

Does this give you something close to what you want? If not, then set the
style set to the one you saved and then set it back as your default.
