We've seen several requests for this in the Publisher newsgroup. There may
even be a Pub template available but I'm not sure. I would suggest starting
with a wedding service template and modifying it to suit.

I don't have publisher and the wedding ones were not suitable.

You might have a look at the "Protestant church bulletin" at
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/TC062577631033.aspx?pid=CT101042981033,
but it is really much too involved for what you want. It would be easier to
create your own template than to try to adapt any of these. If you are using
a funeral home, staff may be able to provide copies of sample bulletins that
you could get ideas from.

If the funeral will be a church service, the church will ordinarily provide
the bulletin, or you can lay out the bulletin similar to the normal church
bulletin. If the service will be at a funeral home, the funeral home should
provide it. One element I highly recommend is a brief biography of the
deceased on the back page. If you've already gathered the data for an
obituary, this should be easy to prepare.
