Hi People,

What really annoys me is that I have so many databases made with ACCESS,
one for management of product, one for employees, one for customer service,
one for etc..... but they all look the bloody same in my folder on desktop.

I am using XP Pro and Access 2002.

How in the world can I safely change the icon image so each database looks
different ? without affecting anything else.?

Any clues ?

Cheers

If you are asking if you can make the icon for each MDB file different, the
answer is no. The icon is a product of Windows file associations. You
can, however, create shortcuts to each database. To change the icon for
each shortcut, open Windows Explorer and right click on the shortcut.
Select Properties. In the Properties Window, you can click the "Change
Icon" button.

Go to Tools >>Startup>>Application Icon. Point to an icon file and it will
appear in the top left of the Access window and the taskbar. You can also
change the name that appears on the main window titlebar and the taskbar
using the Application Title property of the same window. This works pretty
well for me.
