Does anyone know how to fix the shadow on text

I want the shadow on text to be black and only black. PPT changes the text
shadow based on the background....is there a work around this?

What Echo said.....

or make the 'background colour' (in powerpoint) a very dark navy blue (to
fool powerpoint) - it will look black to you...and powerpoint will think
it's light enough to still allow a black drop shadow on your text.

Use the shadow button on the drawing toolbar instead of the text shadow
button to add shadows.
