Does anyone know of any South Eastern UK Seminars on EPM?

Does anyone happen to know if there are any Southern UK based Seminars that
may be aimed at current EPM users, perhaps bringing together organisations
that are currently using and/ or rolling out the tool?

I have found one site offering free seminars on EPM however it sounds more
like this is how EPM could benefit you if we install it for you. I was more
over thinking perhaps about someone talking about EPM and what it can do to a
group of people who are currently working with the tool or implementing it.

Cheers

Hi Suzanne,

What's the nature of your interest - is it technical or general ? Best
Practices or Functional ?

Of course your best port of call would be with your EPM Partner (assuming
you have one), since they can provide the most relevant information to you
about how EPM can be used best in your organisation. They may also have
their own user group type meetings formed from their own client base. If
you are interested in seminars in general I suspect the focus on public
seminars will be around Project Server 2007 right now as that is just about
to be released.

There are many on line forums available now and that tends to be the general
trend. Most people seem to be too busy to attend formal sessions. Indeed
this seems to be the trend with the MPA (perviously MPUG Global) and they
appear to have moved to more of an online association. The MPA events seem
few are far between anyway and in my experience were a bit thin on numbers
and content... but that's just my view.

As I said I think you should contact your EPM partner and they are sure to
be running regular events on Project and Project Server 2003/7. If you have
enough people wishing to attend they will probably set something up for you
!

I did see recently that there was a seminar running in Chertsey (Microsoft)
and several at Microsoft HQ and I believe the ones at Microsoft Reading are
pretty regular. You could also check out the Live Event webcasts too as
these are very useful, especially from a technical perspective.

If you need further information just let me know. And if you need to
contact an EPM partner let me know - I'd be very happy to recommend our
partner - a company that has been excellent in terms of our own EPM
adoption, support and training and who I do know run regular seminars on
topics relevant to EPM.
