Does anyone use extensive bibliographies with OneNote?

I'd like to retain and manipulate bibliographies of the things I'm reading.
But I don't want to re-type etc the bibliographies.

I don't keep my bibliography in OneNote, nor in any way linked with
OneNote. I use EndNote as my bibliography manager.

OneNote wouldn't do very well here.
OneNote would definitely come up weak in the retrieval need for a
bibliographic database.

I'd consider asksam for that amongst the myriad of options out there.

I do keep some bibliographic information in my notes, but not a lot. I have
a section for this information and have a flag for biblio information. When
I need to link a piece of information to a biblio entry, I put the name of
the book/article/etc. under the piece of information and flag it.

If you are using OneNote 2003, I don't know of a way to create the biblio
entry without typing the information in. For 2007 what I have done is drop
the book or article on the scanner, open OneNote to my biblio section, add a
page, insert content from scanner. The automatic OCR means these entries are
searchable and flagable. From there, I am using the same system as in 2003.
