Does ID_028.DHS change on re-cache or re-installation?

I need to verify if the file c:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office10\1033\ID_028.DHS really changes on EVERY
re-cache or re-installation? If it does, the file is a
great reference to use for Office installation scripting!

Hi Bjorn,

DHS files are the Defined Hardware Signature used
as part of Office XP activation. From the dates on
the ones I checked it doesn't appear that they're rewritten
on every recache. You can force a rewrite of it with the
workaround steps at the end of this article if you
want to see how it would change.
