Does MS Outlook 2002 support MS Post Office.

I have just installed Windows XP Professional and MS
Outlooks 2002 and can't connect to the workgroup post
office.

If YES, can somebody offer some guidance/ instructions.

No, but there's a use-at-your-own-risk hack here:

Might want to consider moving away from MS Mail at some point - it's quite
old now and is no longer supported. See http://www.kerio.com/kms_home.html
for one option that will give you even more features, and doesn't appear to
be overly expensive or complicated.

Hate to be the bad news guy, but MS Post Office is not
supported in Outlook 2002.

If you search around at http://www.slipstick.com I understand they have a
work-around for this. I hear it is "unsupported" and use at your own risk
however.
