Does Norton AntiVirus prevent me from storing my email pwd on Out.

New computer with Norton Antivirus installed, Win XP. Now I cannot save my
Outlook 2000 email pwd, and cannot automatically receive mail during the day?
Anyone else have this problem? Is it Norton based? Only difference from old
computer is Norton, and Outlook used to store my pwd.
