Does not type properly (2007)

For some reason, my Microsoft Word doesn't type properly!!!

I get this problem when I'm typing fast... for some reason, now and then
(practically every 10 seconds) my word keeps on missing out on letters from
words which I type, even when I'm 100% sure I've typed it properly!!!!1

And that is TERRIBLE for my productivity!!!

Anyone else getting this problem!????? And any way to fix it???????

Please remember that what you downloaded is beta (in other words,
unfinished) software. If you're counting on it for your productivity,
you're certain to be disappointed. It's even possible that an unfixed
bug could cause you to lose your work. That warning is prominently
displayed on the download screen, although you might have ignored it.

One of the things that will happen between this beta version and the
final version at the end of the year is fine-tuning for performance.
It's too soon to expect that now.

PS: I'm going to propose a tax on multiple exclamation points and
question marks. About five dollars each should do it...

Mate, I am aware of that, but I was hoping that there would be something like
a patch or something in the settings i could play around with to fix it.

The beta's only been publicly available since 24 May, so its unrealistic to
expect much on the patches front just yet.

It's possible that this is a graphics card driver issue as well.
If you change the acceleration in your Display properties in Windows down two clicks do you get any improvement?
