does Office 2000 Small Business work on Vista?

I have Vista. I didn't know it was a trial version, and I have lots of
spreadsheets I need to access. Will Office 2000 Small Business work with
Vista, and if so, what do I need to do? Will my spreadsheets transfer over?
Do I need to do anything with the trial version? Sorry for all the
questions, but I don't know anything about any of this.
Thanks

If you are saying your Vista PC has a trial version and its expired you need
to uninstall the Trial & Activation Assistant, reboot, before installing any
paid for version.
Do a custom install of Office2k, making Outlook unavailable, and installing
to a Program Files\MS Office\Office2k folder
Any spreadsheets or data created in Office 2007 will not be available to
Office2k as they use a new file format

IIRC Office 2000 SBE was only available as an OEM version. If it has "for
sale with a new PC" or the similar on the disk it would be a violation of
the licensing agreement to install it on a new computer as it's licensed is
forever tied to the first computer it is installed onto.
