Does Office 2007 Have Activation?

If it does, can the activation be transferred?

I have a copy of Office 2007 that I downloaded after attending the launch
event. I have the permanent license key. With my Adobe products that require
activation, I can install a product, activate the product, then transfer
activation and install and activate the same product in another location.
When activation is transferred, the product is only usable in one location,
the location the product is activated at, to keep the user within licensing
requirements.

I would like to install Office 2007 in one location for testing and, if I
like it, move it to another location as its permanent home. The one license
would be used only in one location, so I would be staying within the
licensing requirements. Is this possible with Office 2007?

Hi Emanon,

Retail MS Office Products, which include the promotional copy from Office 2007 Launch events, can be moved from one computer to
another. If you have problems activating it online after converting a trial edition and applying the Launch event key you can use
the telephone activation method to explain the situation.

Thank you! I'll be setting this up soon for the test. If I have problems
when the time comes to uninstall Office 2007, I'll try phone support.
