Does Office download need the CD to complete the process?

I downloaded an office update and now it wants the Office 2000 CD. I can't
find it all I have are Microsoft Works Suite 2000 disks. How should I proceed?

Do you have Office installed or just the Microsoft Works Suite 2000 with
Microsoft Word? If the latter, you should have received a Word CD in the
Works package {or a CD with Word on it}. Use that.
