Does OneNote save the Ink copy after converting to text?

Is the Ink copy still available after being converted into text? I'm an
engineer and I can't find anyway to tell OneNote to allow you to
manually control the conversion process like you can with Journal or
Word. I'm concerned that OneNote will not understand a valid
engineering term and substitute something else. Then later I can't
figure out what it should have been.

Also is there a way to tell OneNote not to automatically enter a LFCR
at the end of each handwritten line? You can do this in Journal. Since
the typed lines occupy much less space than handwritten, my notes don't
use the whole line and I have to go back and manually edit them.

Nope - once converted the ink is lost. Of course if you immediately notice
the problem you can always undo the Ink to Text conversion and restore the
Ink. I do that occasionally if the recognition is especially bad.
