Does PowerPoint support Rollover functionality?

I'm trying to create a hot spot within a PP slide what will display something
during the rollover event.

PowerPoint supports 3 types of rollovers.

Hyperlink text.

Action Settings
VBA can also be used to show shapes or forms using Action Setting rollover
activation. You will also need to set up a larger area to "un-roll-over"
then revealed shape/form/text.

Mouse Pointers
If you insert and activeX picture or textbox, you can create a custom icon
that will be displayed whenever the mouse is over the activeX. If you use a
program like Easy Icon Maker (15 day free trial) you can make custom sized
icons (32 x 128 pixels) that may be all you need to pop up a quick note
(yes, it does text as well, just not much of it).
