Does Vertical Split Screen Mode Exist??

I have a 20-inch iMac monitor and would like to open 2 different Word
documents simultaneously in the VERTICAL mode rather than the
horizontal split screen mode. Does anyone know how to accomplish
this? I have searched Help to no avail. Thanks.

Not a built in method. You can either arrange them manually, or it could be
scripted to make things easier.
