Does Word 2003 fire CommandBarComboBoxEvents?

I wrote a com addin for word2000. I just installed Word2003 for testing my
addin. Every thing runs well except for CommandBarComboBoxEvents. I found
that Word2003 could fire CommandBarComboBoxEvents only in first instance
(the first opened/newed document). How do I do to figure it out?
