Doesn't start after install

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I install Office 2008 (Student). After 2 big update, I try to start the applications for the first time and I'm being asked by the MS Office Setup Assistant to give some Feedback (I answer NO) and after I get the window Get Started where I can choose Learn More, Register, Go back or Finish. I click finish and I get the Update window again. It checks for update, NO update available and then nothing. The applications won't start.

I've tried this with Word, Excel, PP and I'm getting the same result. I did an uninstall and a reinstall. Same thing...???

Any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you are caught in the loop bug. See this page for help with
install errors.

A Big thank you Diane - It worked !

Glad I could help. Now if they would add this to the most popular questions,
it would have saved you a lot of time. :)

At least now, you know where to go for help when you receive an error.
