Doing a Custom.mst file install for office and have an issue with

M

Mike

I've built a custom.mst file for our office 2003 install. It works great. The
only real settings I have is to make it auto setup the users account when
they launch outlook. After this is done outlook works great but the Contacts
is not set as an outlook address book. When you go to check the setting on it
is all grayed out and can't be checked. Any idea why this is and how to fix
it?

You have to enable it first -Tools->Email Accounts->Add a new directory or
address book. Once you do that then the option on Contacts will not be greyed
out. What I can not figure out is how to configure that option in the custom
installation. If you have any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it.

I am also having this issue. In the CIW, I set it to add the Outlook Address
Book. But when Outlook 2003 installs, the OAB is not installed. I have to
go in and add it manually. How come the MST did not setup the OAB?
