Hi Scott,
Unless you already have bookmarks or some unique text at the points where
your chapters begin, you will neet to manually insert section breaks of the
"Next Page" "(Next) Even Page, or "(Next) Odd Page" type at the beginning of
each chapter.
If you want your endnotes to appear at the end each chapter rather than at
the end of the document, you need to change the endnote setting from "end of
document to “end of section.†The following line of code does this for all
the endnotes in your document.
ActiveDocument.Endnotes.Location = wdEndOfSection
