Doing Prompts

How do I create a form that one can fill out at various points in the
document?
I have Word 2003.

I know how to do this in WordPerfect but I can't find it in Word.

Read help on Forms and FormFields. Or disply the Forms toolbar and play for
a while. It's well catered for.

What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." Look up this
term in Word
help. You may also want to look at Dian Chapman's series of articles:

http://www.computorcompanion.com/LMMArticle.asp?ID=46

You could also use macrobutton fields as prompts (without macros) and use
the F11 key to move to the next field. The Fax templates that come with Word
use such fields. The general structure is:
{ MacroButton NoMacro Prompt text }. When the user clicks on it, the entire
field is selected. Typing replaces the field.
