doing XP upgrade...installation hangs....

on the first reboot. I am attempting to upgrade from XP
Home to XP Pro. I have a full installation version but
would prefer to use the upgrade choise so as to not loose
my settings. It is hanging after the first reboot after
loading the installation files. It seems stuck on the
mocrosoft windows screen. (it has been there for 56
minutes now) what trick am I missing?

You should ask your question in a newsgroup for Windows XP. This one is for
setup/config of Access, the database product.
