DOLLARS TO POUNDS STERLING

simple query i know, but just wondered how you get excel spreadsheet
to record in pounds sterling and not dollars? when i used office with
a pc this wasn't a problem - i now use a mac and have office 2004 for
teachers and students. can anyone enlighten me please?
