First of all, I'm glad that links/anchors are a common request - I'll add my
voice here. I use OneNote in class, and having links between pages and
sections in my class notes would be great.
My second suggestion came today when I wanted to draw a timeline on the page
(on a laptop, not tablet). My first thought was "Why don't they add a decent
Drawing toolbar?", my second was "Wait, that would just make it a second
Winword". So I thought a better idea would be to have optional
domain-specific add-in packs. Studying math? Install the OneNote Equation
Pack and get a toolbar with equation-editing controls. Use it for meeting
summaries? Install the Meeting Pack and get Outlook integration and such.
This, of course, should be extensible with open programming APIs. I'd love a
decent object model for OneNote.
Thanks, and kudos on the great program.
