dont have access edit slides when i email them from work to home

when i email my power point slides to my home computer i can not access them.
It will allow me to open the slide, but only view it in a slide show. i cna
not edit them to finish my work. can anyone help me. thanks

Hi

It sounds like either it is a .pps (or .ppsx) or it is opening in the
viewer. Try opening PowerPoint first then opening the file through File ->
Open (or Office Button -> Open).
