I have a list of numbered requirements with test cases associated to each
one. As my project rolls along, requirements are occassionally deleted. When
this happens, requirement 3 is deleted from our documentation and any related
test cases are also deleted.
Trouble is, Word renumbers everything so what was #4 becomes #3. In the case
of my project, we have about 700 requirements, so if we deleted #2, 698 sets
of test cases would not be referring to the wrong requirement numbers.
How do I tell Word NOT to renumber if I delete a list item?
