Don't understand about this behaviour of Project Web Access TIME SHEET

Hi,

In my company (Company start Time is 10:00 AM) and (Company Finish Time is
7:00 PM) .

I set this in the Customize Project Web Access in the Admin Page:

[Maximum number of hours that can be entered per day for a single task
(enter '0' for no limit): " 8 hours " ]

we have to allow only 8 hours in Time Sheet.

but now after one month i see very carefully that we can allow hours for a
single task per day.

Tell me one thing if I will enter 8 hours for each task that means i will
enter may be 20 to 40 or more hours in one day .

how we can track the employee work.

I dont understand about this behaviour of Project Web Access TIME SHEET .

The Maximum number of hours setting controls the maximum number of hours
that a team member can enter on any task. It does not limit the total
number of hours that can be entered during a single day. Therefore, you
need to make this a training and performance issue with your team members.
Teach them how to enter actual work according to your company's methodology
and then hold them accountable for their performance. Hope this helps.
