Dont understand <xml xmlns:x="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:excel">

been playing with this all morning,

If i take the xml property of a pivot table , in the top line of the
xml
is
<xml xmlns:x="urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:excel">

If i then try and load that XML back in to the pivottable it doesnt
work

however if i replace

<xml xmlns:x="urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:excel">

with

<xml>

It works!
why is this ?

I don't have an answer for you there, but I can tell you that the Office XML
is documented and released on the Office website so you might want to have a
look at its documentation.
