Don't USE SYNC SERVICES!!! Entourage ate my appointments

Guys this product has been out a long time. I rely on it and now I don't even know if I have any appointments tomorrow. Nice!
The code is not sophisticated enough to handle calendar data. This could be very damaging to my professional work. I have a backup from last week, but I shouldn't have to do this.
Does anyone know which file to restore to recover calendar data?

Well if you made an Entourage archive before the Sync, you could use it.
Otherwise, you could also look for a previously backed-up identity
(created when you rebuild or compact your identity) and switch to it to
export what you need by Entourage archive or simple rag and drop.

So it's all saved in the identity file? I was hoping the calendar might be separate. Thanks.
I've rebuilt most things by hand overnight and started to make archives after every important change.

Two things. First, I feel for you but secondly I feel a bit frustrated
when I read this. The problems with Entourage sync have been so highly
documented in this forum since the day it came out Jan 15 2008.
Microsoft intends to do nothing about it. Finally, there's a well
documented workaround posted numerous times in the forum that avoids
all the bizarre sync behaviours with Entourage. Also, to let you know,
the problem does not exist with just Entourage but for any third party
vendor that uses Apple's sync serv. I've frequently recommended unless
you need the power of Entourage and I really mean something critical
in its advanced functionality don't use it especially if you sync. Its
too painful. Many including me have gone through what you have.
