I've noticed more people putting their email addresses in posts. Even
Microsoft says don't do it. The spam-bots pick it up, sell it to spammers,
and eventually you'll be getting literally hundreds of spams a day. The
spam filters are a pain at best, and aren't reliable.
Be sure you've not put your email address in the email address box, reply
address box or anywhere else in your news reader program, or in your posts.
In short, you don't want your email address to appear anywhere on the web
where the bots can pick it up.
