Don't want Office Online to show

I recently installed Windows 7. I have Office 2003. Whenever I open an Office
product - Word, Excel, PowerPoint - an Office Online window appears. It is a
distraction that I close right away. How do I get it not to come up in the
first place?

By uninstalling the add-in.

Where is this add-in? I click Tools>Add-Ins in Excel, there are several
listed that don't relate to Office Online. In PowerPoint the list is empty,
and in Word, there is no Add-Ins option under Tools. Then under Programs, I
go to Microsoft Office>Microsoft Office Tools and don't see anything that
looks appropriate. Any help would be most appreciated.

I think you'll find the Office online add-in in Control Panel-Add/Remove
Programs...(or the equivalent for your version of Windows)

Thanks, Gordon, but no such luck. Nothing like that was listed in the
programs listing in the Control Panel>Programs>Programs and
Features>Uninstall or Change a Program window, nor was there anything in the
Turn Windows Features On or Off list. The version of Windows I have is
Windows 7 Ultimate.

I do use some Add-Ins for Excel, so I don't want to wipe them out.

Office Live Add-in should show in Add/Remove Programs, that is, if you
installed it as a Windows Update.

Well, I guess I am just stuck. I can't find Office Live Add-In on my laptop.
I searched it with Google, and found a site that talked about it, but I do
not understand at all what it is or what it is used for. It seems like you
save your documents to somewhere on the internet, rather than on my laptop. I
do not want to do that.

This is disappointing that when the little Office Online windows keep
popping up, there is not an option available on them to keep them from
showing.
