When I reply to a message that has a digital signature, Outlook 2007 asks me for a digital signature. To me, the signatures cause more trouble than they are worth, so I would rather just not include my signature. Plus, I may not have inserted my smart card, and I then have to type in my PIN. Just too much trouble for me. So I usually press cancel, uncheck the icon to send the message with a digital signature, and then resend it without a signature. My question is, is there a setting to tell outlook to always ignore the fact a message has a signature, and not to ever prompt me in any case to sign my messages? I can't remove my certs from my computer altogether because I need them for some web sites. It seems to me that if outlook will let me manually send an unsigned reply to a signed message, then I should be able to do it automatically every time. I am comfortable with vba (primarily for excel), so if the solution is with vba, that's fine too..
