Don't want to violate licence agreement

I purchased Office xp last summer and recently the
computer I had it installed on crashed so I purchased a
new laptop. Is there any way I can install the progam on
my new computer without violating the the license
agreement or having to spend another $300 for a new
Office program?

Not having access to the Office XP EULA, if it reads the same as for earlier
version of Office, you can install it on one PC - nothing limits your moving
it from one to another, so long as you remove it from the first before
installing on the second. Moreover, you can also install it on your
portable PC - the implication being that only one installation is used at a
time.
