Dot Msg problem

I received a couple of .msg files attached to emails from the same person in
the last couple of days and each time I tried to open them OE reports
"Unknown file type" I've tried setting the file type to both OE and IE and
it makes no difference, they still do not open. Now I cannot get back to the
default. Please, can someone explain how I can get back to the default
setting. The Default setting button is greyed out when I go to File Types.
Thanks.

Thanks for that input. Do you know what the default setting is for msg files
in OE? I'd like to get back to it. Is it file type unknown?

Ok, I guess I'm going to leave it like it is. If they won't open in OE it
doesn't really matter what the file type is. :)
Thanks.

You need to install Outlook in order to be able to open .MSG files. The
person forwarding you these attachments should forward the messages
*inline* instead of attachments; this way everybody can open the
messages, even if they don't have Outlook installed.
