Dotted box in background

Hi Anybody. I have a weird problem on which I would welcome any
suggestions. There is a black dotted boundary box which appears in
Page Layout view only. It has printers crop marks at the corners and
turns up on all new documents. I have been through all the prefs and
as many tools as possible, but I just don't know which area is causing
it. Any help would be much appreciated. SCL

Go to WordMenu>Preferences>View & remove the check for Text Boundaries.
